French Provincial furniture has become my latest obsession (in a crazy way that makes me wish I lived in the days of Louis XVI). Provincial furniture is characterized by its rusticity, ornamentation is used sparingly, and the furniture generally has linear decorations over curves and deep carvings. I also love it in wood or gold. Unfortunately for me, it's also characterized by VERY expensive prices :( ... but a girl can dare to dream....

And here are a few more modern suzani-backed Louis style chairs from Shades of Light that are so SO so incredibly beautiful too. Albeit expensive. I'd see these more in a living room than a bedroom....they definitely have an Anthropologie-esque feel...
